long enough to be used at a normal sequence dancing venue. Inventors may be
using tracks to suit the choreography, and to cover two or three sequences at most,
as required by the competition rules. Note particularly that many "Blackpool"
competition or championship tracks last only 2 minutes or less, all that is
required by Ballroom and Latin competition rules.

At this year's UKA Inventive, an extra dance was produced to be used in the Medallist Competitions run by the UKA throughout the year.

The format was each dance was un-named and known simply by its genre - - i.e. OT Waltz, Gavotte or whatever. The winning dance was selected by the judges, and then named as

"The Diamond Jubilee Waltz " Inventors - David Howker and Deborah Catlow.

The genre is Modern Waltz. Scripts for this dance were not issued for general Club use, details and scripts will be available by contact with the UKA at Centenary House, Blackpool.
